Unattended Site Voice Callout Unit

Environmental damage, equipment repair and lost production at remote or unattended facilities can be detrimental to your business.  The XTelAlert  (XTA) voice callout unit can assist you in reducing or eliminating these losses by providing you and your staff with reliable advanced warning, remote control and diagnostic trend information.

The XTA reduces your solar power and cabinetry installation costs because it is designed for low power consumption and harsh outdoor environments where there is the threat of lightning, power surges, and extreme temperature swings.

The XTelAlert  (XTA) and XtelAlert Plus  (XTA-Plus) are robust state-of-the-art data and voice alarm monitoring/logging/control units that reliably monitor remote or unattended assets.

  • Local programming and usage is easy with the built-in speaker/keypad.  The local keypad keystrokes and the telephone keystrokes are the same, reducing confusion and operator training.
  • XTA can be programmed over the telephone using a Touch-Tone telephone or with a personal computer and modem, eliminating the requirement for costly site visits.
  • Removable terminal blocks allow for quick installation and easy operation.
  • Ideal for industrial and solar powered applications where extreme temperatures (-40 to +60C), lightning and ESD and unreliable or no commercial power are common.  The XTA is designed with three stages of lightning protection and five stages of power surge protection to reduce failures and repair costs.
  • XTelAlert can be upgraded to  XtelAlert Plus permitting growth for your future needs.
  • Supports popular serial communication in master or slave mode allowing easy interface and data interchange with your existing SCADA, DCS, PLC, VSD or serial sensors.
  • Alarm callouts can be processed over telephone, cell phone, satellite phone, 2-Way radio, pager or locally, thereby contacting personnel wherever they are located.  Alarm status interrogation can be remotely performed at any time by staff with a simple call to the unit, reducing expensive site visits and providing peace of mind.
  • A 32 number telephone directory and 9 call list sequences easily provides 9 shift changes with minimal user programming.
  • Associative alarm to call list mapping sends alarms to selected phone numbers, eliminating alarm calls to unnecessary groups of staff.
  • User programmable site identification, 8 user recordable labels and hundreds of built in labels are available for assignment to any alarm input or output, making alarm reports clear and specific.
  • Output relays can be programmed to automatically activate when binary or analog inputs exceed specified limits, providing an easy means of warning staff or protecting equipment.
  • Data logging in either a circular or linear log provides the user with valuable historical information concerning digital alarms or analog signals such as flow, pressure, temperature, level etc.
  • Internal or external microphone allows remote monitoring of local noise sources to give user listen-in capability.

Internal XTA diagnostics test the incoming power voltage, internal battery condition, processor reset state and ambient temperature to notify personnel if there is any necessary maintenance to achieve maximum reliability.
